Grand Ciel 2012 Syrah

There is a cornucopia of fruit aromas including currants, blackberries, plums, raspberries, cherries and orange blossoms. Intertwined with the fruit characters are white flowers, cracked black pepper, cardamom, cumin, chocolate mole and citrus oil - an amazing Syrah! In the mouth, all these complex fruit components share the profile with toasted pine nut notes as well as chocolate espresso, blood orange and tapenade characters. This vintage is showing great concentration yet all of these deep aromas and flavors flow together like one beautiful musical chord.
