On the palate there is a beautiful combination of red and dark fruits like marion berries, pomegranates, currants and cassis along with vanilla and wood smoke. A mouthwatering, savory style that defines the 2010 vintage and is also reminiscent of the very best earlier Chaleur Estate vintages -- a long lasting wine of 15 years or more.
