2018 Signature Syrah
Yakima Valley AVA
The 2018 Signature Syrah is another wonderfully hedonistic vintage for this cuvee. Blueberries and violet aromas drive the aromas on this wine, with some wonderful savory elements adding contrast. On the palate, smoky meat and game notes combine with abundant, pure fruit; all this enjoyment is carried through a long, well-structured finish. Pure enjoyment.

Production
In 1997 we released our first vintage of Syrah & in 2002 it was selected in Robert Parker’s 15 Great Syrahs from Around the World. The sandy loam soils & cool nights of the Yakima Valley contribute to crafting a wine with incredible generosity of flavors & spices – qualities that elevate Syrah into an unparalleled category. We choose to co-ferment our Syrah with two percent Viognier, adding another dimension of citrus & floral spices to the bouquet. First vintage 1997.
