2017 Red Willow Malbec
YAKIMA VALLEY AVA
Densely inky and black at its core, the 2017 Red Willow Malbec showcases aromas of lit charcoal, vanilla bean and an abundance of macerated fruits including blueberries, fresh figs and red cherries. On the palate, the wine is plush in structure, with a deluge of fruit flavors throughout – typical for this enjoyable varietal. Just beneath this ample fruit, earthy flavors of dried strawberries, peat and lightly roasted coffee beans contribute welcome restraint.
