2014 Shaw Cabernet Sauvignon

This fabulous wine has a sweet hedonistic entry with aromas of jammy blackberry, currant and toasty blueberry. Lilacs, rosemary and thyme spices are also evident on the nose. Flavors include ripe berries along with black pepper, bacon, flint, citrus peel and cocoa powder. There is a wonderful combination of soft tannins and mouth-watering acidity that provides great early structure.  A very long, ripe finish adds to the pleasure.
