2019 Shaw Cabernet

Block 32 Cabernet Sauvignon at Shaw Vineyard is, year after year, one of our cellar favorites.  In 2019, our best barrels were carefully chosen to make this Cuvee. Maraschino cherry, burnt orange peel, cigar wrapper and freshly baked pie dough are initial aromas.  The ripe tannins are exquisitely fine and are the perfect partner to the wine’s fruit-forward style.  Hints of milk chocolate and fresh espresso mingle in the balanced finish.  On release, this lively wine will be difficult to the cellar, but patience will surely be rewarded.
